Royal Kingdom has basically been living on my phone for the past two weeks. I first opened it on WOW88 out of boredom during a mamak session, and now it’s the game I open whenever I’m waiting for anything. LRT, bank queue, my friend who is forever 20 minutes late. You know the type.
Since I’ve been playing it so much, I thought might as well write a proper guide. Everything here is from my own experience, including some stuff I only found out by accident. Nothing copied from a press release, promise.
What is Royal Kingdom actually
It’s a 5-reel slot game with a medieval theme. Castles, knights, a princess, that kind of thing. Made by Betixon, which I admit I never heard of before this. Apparently they focus on mobile games, which explains why this one runs so smooth on my phone.
The game has 25 paylines and they’re fixed, so you don’t need to think about that at all. Bet starts low and goes up from there. I mostly play the minimum because I’m cheap like that, but there’s room if you want to bet bigger.
The theme itself is nothing special tbh. It looks like every fantasy game from 2015. But the gameplay makes up for it, and I’ll explain why below.
How to play Royal Kingdom on WOW88
This part is easy. Even my mum could do it, and she still types with one finger.
- Register or login to WOW88. App or browser, both works fine.
- Go to the slots section and search Royal Kingdom.
- Set your bet with the coin button. Start small first, don’t act hero.
- Spin. That’s it.
There’s an auto-spin function if you’re lazy like me. You can set it up to 50 spins, and it has a stop limit so you don’t burn your whole balance while watching Netflix. Ask me how I know.
The dragon and the tree (read this part)
Okay so there’s two symbols you need to know. Everything else is decoration.
The dragon is the wild. It replaces other symbols to make winning lines. Sometimes it becomes sticky, meaning it stays on the reels for the next few spins, and when that happens good things usually follow. The first time I got a sticky dragon I didn’t even realise what was happening, I just saw my balance going up and I was like, okay nice.
The tree is the scatter. Land 3 of them and you get 10 free spins, and all wins during free spins are doubled. Sounds simple, but the tree is a bit stingy. In two weeks I triggered it maybe 15 to 20 times? Some days it just doesn’t want to come out. Very sien when that happens.
There’s also a paytable if you tap the “i” button. I checked it once, forgot everything immediately, but it’s there if you’re the organised type.
My spin tracking (the numbers part)
Because I wanted this review to have actual data instead of just vibes, I counted my spins over a few days. I lost count around spin 250, so take this as approximate la.
| What I tracked | Result | Notes |
| Spins counted | Around 300 | over 4-5 sessions |
| Spins that won something | 87 (29%) | mostly small wins |
| Sticky dragons | 14 | my favourite thing in this game |
| Free spins triggered | 3 | in this stretch only |
| Longest no-win streak | 19 spins | wanted to throw my phone |
| Biggest win | 2x during free spins | still not enough to retire lol |
| Battery drain | quite ok | my phone is those budget Xiaomi one |
What I learned from this: the game pays small amounts quite often, but the real wins are in the free spins. Which you cannot control. So it’s alot of waiting. I should of tested the max bet too, but I was scared, so minimum bet data only.
Why I think Royal Kingdom suits Malaysians
Maybe I’m biased, but this game fits how we play. Short sessions, on the phone, anywhere. I play it at mamak, in the car (passenger seat ok, don’t play and drive), during lunch break. The game loads fast even on my data plan, and it doesn’t eat battery like some other games I know.
The fantasy theme is easy to like also. Everyone has watched some knight movie before. My friend who plays Royal Match saw me playing this and said “eh this looks like your kind of thing” and she was right. The vibe is similar, except this one has real payouts.
If you’re new to WOW88, they always got some promotion running, so check the promotions page first before you deposit. And if slots is not really your thing, they have other games also, like arcade, card games, mini games, all that.
Pros and cons, my honest list
Pros:
- Runs smooth even on cheap phones
- Free spins got 2x multiplier, very shiok when it hits
- Sticky dragon can chain wins without you doing anything
- Minimum bet is low, good for people like me
- Graphics are clean, easy to see on small screen
Cons:
- Free spins take forever to trigger sometimes
- The RTP is not the highest, around 94-95% based on other reviews. WOW88 doesn’t display it clearly in game, or maybe I just couldn’t find it
- Max bet got cap, so high rollers will feel limited
- The tree symbol lowkey creeps me out idk why
Overall I give Royal Kingdom 4 out of 5. Would be 4.5 if the free spins came more often.
Few tips from my two weeks
Start with minimum bet first. I know everyone says this, but seriously, learn the game before you increase. The wins come often but they’re small, so don’t expect to double your money in 10 spins.
Don’t chase the free spins. I did this for two days and it was a bad idea. The game decides when it wants to give, not you. If free spins come, good. If not, tomorrow another day.
Use auto-spin with a limit if you’re the type who loses track of time. I set mine and sometimes I just watch it like it’s TV. My girlfriend thinks I’m crazy.
Also, if you play outside the house alot, download the WOW88 app instead of using browser. Faster to open, and you stay logged in.
So, worth playing or not?
For me, yes. Royal Kingdom is not going to change your life, but it’s a solid game for killing time, and the free spins round is genuinely exciting when it finally comes. I still open it every few days, which is more than I can say for most games I try.
If you want to try, go WOW88, find the game, spin a few rounds. Set yourself a limit before you start (they have a responsible gaming page, read it, it takes 2 minutes), and don’t get carried away like I did that one time in mamak.
That’s my review. If you disagree, too bad, come find me in the comments section lol.
FAQs
- Is Royal Kingdom the same as the Royal Match game?
No, different thing. Royal Match is the puzzle game from Dream Games. This Royal Kingdom is a slot game on WOW88. Same vibes, different game. Confusing also right, the name.
- Can play on iPhone or not?
Can. I tested on Android only, but my friend plays on iPhone and she says no problem.

Land 3 or more tree symbols anywhere on the reels. You get 10 free spins with 2x on all wins. That’s the only way I know of.
